These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by Verdigo Lawn Care (“Verdigo”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) to customers (“customer”, “you”, or “your”). By booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Services
Verdigo Lawn Care provides residential lawn maintenance services including:
- Lawn mowing
- Lawn edging
- Whipper snipping
- Blowing down paths, driveways and hard surfaces
Services are provided to
accessible lawn areas only.
Unless otherwise agreed, our services do not include:
- Removal of large debris or rubbish
- Landscaping or construction works
- Tree removal or major pruning
- Garden waste removal
Verdigo reserves the right to refuse, delay, or reschedule services where conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.
2. Bookings
Bookings may be made through our website, booking system, phone, or email.
A booking is confirmed once payment has been processed or the appointment has been confirmed by Verdigo.
Verdigo schedules jobs within service windows rather than exact arrival times. While we aim to attend within the scheduled time frame, arrival times may vary due to weather, travel time, or earlier jobs taking longer than expected.
3. Minimum Service
Verdigo Lawn Care operates with a minimum service booking of two (2) hours.
If the required work takes less time than the minimum booking, the minimum service charge will still apply.
4. Pricing
Prices advertised on our website or booking platform are
based on typical lawn conditions.
Additional charges may apply where:
- Lawns are significantly overgrown
- Additional labour or equipment is required
- Access issues increase service time
Where possible, any additional charges will be discussed with the customer before work proceeds.
5. Payment
Payment may be required at the time of booking depending on the booking method used.
Verdigo accepts payment via approved online payment platforms including card payments and digital payment systems.
Invoices must be paid within the stated payment terms.
Verdigo reserves the right to suspend future services where invoices remain unpaid.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers may cancel or reschedule bookings up to 24 hours before the scheduled service without penalty.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the booking value.
If Verdigo arrives at the property and the service cannot proceed due to lack of access, unsafe conditions, or the service no longer being required, a call-out fee may apply.
7. Refund Policy
Refunds may be issued in the following situations:
- Full refund for cancellations made more than 24 hours before the appointment
- Partial refund (up to 50%) for cancellations within 24 hours
- No refund where our team has arrived on site and the service cannot proceed
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
8. Weather Conditions
Lawn mowing cannot be safely performed during heavy rain or extreme weather conditions.
If weather prevents us from completing the service, the appointment will be rescheduled to the next available suitable time.
Customers will not be charged cancellation fees for weather-related rescheduling.
9. Property Access
Customers must ensure the property is accessible at the scheduled time of service.
This includes ensuring:
- Gates are unlocked
- Pets are secured
- Lawn areas are clear and accessible
If Verdigo is unable to access the property at the scheduled time, the booking may be treated as a
late cancellation.
10. Property Preparation and Hazards
Customers must remove potential hazards from lawn areas before the service begins, including:
- Toys
- Garden tools
- Hoses
- Rocks
- Loose debris
Verdigo Lawn Care is not responsible for damage caused by objects hidden in grass or garden areas.
11. Debris and Property Damage
While Verdigo Lawn Care takes reasonable care when performing services, lawn mowing equipment may occasionally cause small stones, sticks, or debris to be projected during operation.
Customers acknowledge that lawn mowing involves the use of high-speed cutting equipment and that small objects may be present in lawn areas that are not visible prior to mowing.
Verdigo will not be held liable for damage caused by debris projected from mowing equipment where the hazard was not reasonably visible prior to mowing.
Verdigo will take reasonable precautions to minimise risk, including visual inspection of lawn areas before commencing work.
Nothing in this clause excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
12. Lawn Condition
Verdigo Lawn Care services are designed for regular lawn maintenance.
Lawns that are significantly overgrown may require additional time, specialised equipment, or multiple visits.
Where a lawn is excessively overgrown, Verdigo may provide a separate quote for an initial restoration service before regular maintenance can begin.
13. Regular Maintenance Services
Verdigo Lawn Care offers recurring lawn maintenance services including weekly, fortnightly, or monthly schedules.
Regular maintenance customers receive priority scheduling.
Recurring services may be paused or cancelled with 7 days notice.
14. Limitation of Liability
Verdigo Lawn Care will take reasonable care in providing services. However, to the extent permitted by law:
- Verdigo is not liable for damage caused by hidden hazards or debris in lawn areas.
- Verdigo is not responsible for damage to underground irrigation systems, cables, or other services that are not clearly visible.
Verdigo’s liability for any claim relating to services provided is
limited to the value of the service supplied.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the
Australian Consumer Law.
15. Customer Satisfaction
Verdigo aims to provide high quality lawn care services.
If you are dissatisfied with the service provided, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion so we can investigate and resolve the issue.
16. Changes to Terms
Verdigo Lawn Care may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
The most current version will always be available on our website.
